Really pleased with the windows and doors we've had installed (installed at different periods).On both occasions the... guys turned up on time, were really pleasant and cracked on with the work. They were also installed quicker than stated.We had a few minor snags with our doors but this was quickly rectified after we called.We absolutely love our new windows and doors; what a difference it has made!I would highly recommend Coastal and their fitters are great hardworking guys who are polite and courteous. 5 stars!read more

18/9/2023 - 11 new windows fitted. Elliot, Alex and Simon did a superb job, as the Coastal teams always seem to do from... other installations I have seen like my neighbours windows and doors. The windows were measured by Phil, costed by their friendly surveyor and fitted by the guys in a very professional and competent way. The team just got on with the work and ensured that the windows were beautifully fitted both from inside and out. Our friend Paula liked the work so much she is now having a new polycarbonate roof fitted. Happy to recommend Coastal Windows & Conservatories, particularly their fantastic builders and fitters. They had... already built our new conservatory (Jamie was excellent), so we choose them to fit our new kitchen and it looks fabulous. Steve and George were really friendly, skilful and worked very hard to ensure everything was perfect (fortified with a supply of custard creams!). I noticed that Steve especially was very attentive to every detail and took great pride in his work, consulting with us and making really helpful suggestions and contributions. 30 years of experience... 30 years of butchery...Price wise very similar as Anglian- they were willing to match... up.Horrible job lots overcuts, damages and unfinished jobs.Management ignoring warnings and a using client of lying. They also have massive communication problems within the company.Unable /unwilling to keep verbal agreements made between client and company (representative and management)Corrections of mistakes? Cover up with silicon.Parts missing in 2 of Windows.If you love your home do not use ever..It's not worth money and stress2 Windows still can open as it should do, expecting to be finished within 2 years.read more

Very pleased with our new doors. From our draughty, tatty sliding patio doors to these double opening ones has... transformed our living space. Scott and Brandon our 2 fitters today were exceptional. Very polite and friendly. Arrived early and were done in less than 2 hours. Dust sheets down straight away, cleaned up every little speck. Very happy. Scott even gave us an idea for our other side door too. Already booked in for a quote. March 2023 - Simon and Gibbo turned up on time and ready to replace our external polycarbonate roof. The roof was 4m... long and 1.7m wide but this was no problem. The guys were very pleasant, professional and very hard working. The old roof was down in a day and cleared away before they left for the day. Day 2 saw a LOT of preparation work which really showed the attention to detail, next the new roof panels were up, secured and waterproof. The attention to detail never stopped with some of the best lead flashing fitted, Simon fitted it to a depth of 40mm and even made a vent plate out of lead to cover and existing old and broken plastic one and that was actually on the neighbours house, but he wanted it to be correct and it was. Overall the whole project was excellent from Phil the salesman who gave us a good price, the surveyor who was on time and measured quickly and very accurately because the roof panels were a perfect fit! I cannot recommend Coastal strongly enough and having an engineering background from the RN I could easily see the whole show was polished, professional and the teams enjoyed their work. We have had lots of liquid sunshine and no leaks even during the Noah's Ark level of rain last month.May 2023 - We liked the work Coastal undertook so much that we have also had 9 new windows fitted. Elliot and Alex did a superb job, as the Coastal teams always seem to do. The windows were measured by Phil costed by our friendly surveyor and fitted by the guys in a very professional and competent way. The team just got on with the work and ensured that the windows were beautifully fitted both from inside and out. Our neighbours liked the work so much they are now having 11 new windows fitted as well and we have placed and order for a new front and rear door. We had not only a leaking conservatory roof, but also suffered cold in the winter and extreme heat in the... summer.Coastal pitched a solution of a solid roof keeping the lean to design, to save costs and fit a rubber roof on top of thick insulation. The change is like night and day. Over 10 degrees cooler is a success in my bookThe installers Antony and Eliot spent a week here, and were no trouble. Worked to a excellent standard and we're professional. Keeping them happy with a coffee they got on with the job. Can't falt them. We've just had one of our windows and patio door replaced by Coastal Windows team . The installers: Rise, Cullen and... Louise did fantastic job despite the awful weather today. Rise, Cullen and Louise arrived on time, before they started removing old window they covered all carpets and stair. They work is done to the best quality. Bless them they even cleaned and vacuumed afterwards. The window and door are great quality- we are sohappy with choosing Coastal Windows- thank you guys.read more

Philip introduced us to Coastal Windows and we decided to go ahead with their quote. It was estimated that the... installers would be here for 4 days. Scott and Brandon arrived bang on time and managed to install 13 windows a door and a fanlight in 2 and a half days! They were brilliant , happy, friendly and very hard working. We've just had the whole frontage of our house done by Coastal Windows which included three windows, a front door and a... small window above the door. Just had a new conservatory fitted , James has done a great Job , he never stopped even when Storm Bella was around... last Tuesday 7Th Dec He was out in , all work finished to a high standard . I Have just had my windows finished today and I can't fault the guys who came to do the job. Very professional,... friendly, clean and tidy and always turned up on time! All work was done to the highest standards.The kitchen itself was not an easy job due to the type of windows, but this did not hold them back from delivering an excellent finish.I'm really happy with the results and already the house feels warmer and more secure as well as looking fantastic.Gone are my misted, leaky, draughty windows!I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for replacement windows and doors.read more

Special word though to the installation teams who arrived, introduced themselves to us and then worked tirelessly to get the job done and make sure we were happy with everything before leaving us with a well cleaned up house. We were delighted with how professional Tyler, Elliot and Lewis were whilst installing our windows and doors. It was... not an easy installation as two windows in particular proved difficult to fit. However, these fitters worked hard as a team and got the job completed. Furthermore, they kept us informed throughout the installation. I absolutley could not be happier with new glass roof covering an atrium internal to house. Coastal team was... relentless in sealing this roof to extremely challenging surfaces with odd geometries. Shocked by how much less noise there is coming through the roof - IE: rain. We had a replacement conservatory using our existing base; the job was to remove the old rotten wooden one and build a... new one. It's now all done and we can highly recommend Coastal. Charlie and Tyler were excellent guys and did a great job. They were on time, solved anything that cropped up, had a superb can-do attitude to get the job done....and all in some truly appalling weather conditions. Great price, well executed project, nice people, and that's why we've already today commissioned Coastal to build us a new porch. We've used the "big companies" before and Coastal put them to shame. We would definitely recommend Coastal Windows. This is the second property that they have completed Windows and doors... on. They are efficient, professional and very clean workers. We had Dave and Jake. They worked really well together both having there own area of expertise. The finish was amazing. We hit a snag and they were both calm as we waited for an electrician to arrive to sort out unexpected cabling. They had a later finish but both were incredibly professional and didn't complain once! You can't get much better than this..read more

We had windows and one door fitted summer 2020. The workmen were meticulous in fitting the units. No decoration was... needed after the work was completed. Always a worry when new windows are fitted but decoration was not needed as the finish was superb. And the quality of the windows and doors are fantastic, so secure. So good in fact that we have placed another order for another of our properties with Coastal Windows via a lovely chap called Phil today. Looking forward to another positive experience. Great service from Coastal Windows. Pete and Reece spent four days fitting replacement windows to our house and did a... great job. They worked hard and left everywhere neat and tidy at the end of each day. Attention to detail was so good that I have only a tiny bit of paintwork to touch up so I am very happy. They even took down curtains where I couldn't and put them back up which was above and beyond expectations. Great guys, great service and the new windows and doors all work beautifully. We have just had 2 windows, a set of French doors and a front door fitted by Coastal and we are very happy with both... the products and the service received. Scott and Jamie were our fitters, alongside a plasterer, and they all worked cheerfully and efficiently. They were courteous and clean workers and explained how everything worked. Scott and Jamie came back very quickly the same day when we needed to make a slight adjustment to the french door. The whole process of ordering, survey and fitting was straightforward, even over the last few months with the added pressures of Covid-19. I would recommend Coastal, good products at very reasonable costs and it felt good to be supporting a Devon business.read more

Excellent service by Reece & Pete. Delighted with my new windows. Very neat & tidy & they couldn't have been more... helpful in sorting out of one of my windows where the wall was crumbling away a little on the inside. Made a very good job of it. Overall I couldnt recommend Coastal Windows more, for their professional service from beginning to end. No pushy salesperson at the start of ordering my windows, just friendly, professional & helpful.read more

I would not hesitate to recommend Coastal Windows following my recent experience with them. I had old double glazed... units replaced with new by Coastal Windows. From the initial meeting with Gary the representative, who gave us good advice on window options to the surveyor who measured, and finally to Alex and Lewis the fitters we and our home were treated with respect. Alec and Lewis arrived and immediately laid down protective coverings across carpets and furniture. The old windows were removed with a minimum of disturbance and the new ones put back in their place. The windows and working area was left spotless and I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised that no touching up was required on my part. The windows have a pleasing profile and assuming that they do what they should do my wife and I are 100% satisfied. A mention to of Sam in the office, who like the rest of the team was very pleasant and helpful in arranging payments and fitting dates.read more

Would definitely recommend this company.. from start to finish the customer care was great... Justin, Alex & Lewis... worked well as a team, very tidy and got on with what they had to do.. 2 days no fuss, and enjoyed some of my cupcakes too!
