Window Styles

There are many styles to choose from to create your perfect look. These are some of the options available.

Casement

 

This is one of our most popular choices; this style of window can suit most properties from the conventional and time-honoured homes to the more modern elegant property.

Flush Casement

 

Sometimes people want to keep the aesthetic of a traditional window but don’t like the maintenance or poor thermal efficiency. The principle is very simple. We take the appearance of a traditional window frame, its proportions and its sightlines and we replicate it. We add all the extra features: period hardware, ancillaries, cills and glazing bars. We select period colours and finishes. To that we add the benefits of 21st-century, easily maintained materials, weatherproofing, thermal and acoustic insulation, and security.

Bow & Bay Windows

 

Bow and bay windows are design classics seen in period homes up and down the country. They add extra space and light to a room. They also add beautiful kerb appeal. So when it’s time to replace them, you need to choose wisely. If you would like to replicate classic window styles or add interesting touches to replicate your original bay or bow windows, there are a wealth of design details to choose from, including decorative bars, stained glass and leaded lights. You can choose to have coloured frames too, to add a distinctive touch to your home. Bow and bay windows can as also be fitted retrospectively to an existing opening, or we can create one. These can be replaced or created using any of the above windows.

Tilt and Turn

 

When it comes to letting the outdoors feel like part of your home our tilt & turn windows is a key choice. It allows your home to fell light and spacious letting the fresh air in but has the security to keep intruders out. The benefit of having this style of window is the dual purpose, a quarter turn of the handle opens the window inwards from the bottom hinges this is ideal for ventilation or turning half a turn of the handle allows the window to swing inwards on the side hinge thus allowing for cleaning of the glass and frames on the outside of the window.

Vertical Sliding Sash

 

Coastal sash windows can preserve the traditional elegance to your home or bring a rustic sophistication to a more modern home. We offer the traditional sash window design but with the 21st century benefits of Upvc thermal efficiency and security. With optional Horn detailing or a choice from Georgian and astragal bars there will be a design to suit your home.
