Choose from glass to a more modern conservatory style and create your ideal living space. Or if you need to upgrade your existing roof, then we can help you with that too!

We will work with you to make sure your new conservatory is everything you desire making the whole process as stress-free as possible.

The first step when designing your new space is choosing the design, may it be lean-to style, or Victorian.

Lean-To

Widely regarded as the clearest option for both modern and traditional homes, lean-to conservatories are a popular choice amongst our customers — and for very good reason. Making the most of natural sunlight while adding a distinctive Mediterranean feel, lean-to conservatories are a great way to upgrade your living space.

With sleek lines and a sloping roof, a lean-to conservatory creates a spacious and sun-filled extension to your home; a cosy space from which to enjoy your garden year round.

Thanks to years of expertise and quality materials, our lean-to conservatories are built to last for many years to come.

Victorian

Victorian style offers a unique charm; it will compliment any period property or provide that touch of sophistication to a newer house. Incorporates a central ridge giving a pitched roof and can be designed with 3 or 5 facets to offer a bay-like environment, perfect for those delightful views.

With the choice of cresting’s and finials from low profile to renaissance, it will always be possible to suit your home. It was the Victorian era in which the nation’s love of the conservatory blossomed.

Edwardian

It’s easy to see why Edwardian conservatories remain popular in the UK today. Given our climate for much of the year, we all want to make the most of the sun when it does eventually come out. The three or four sided roof that is traditional on Edwardian conservatories helps us to do that, maximising the light in the room and, at the same time, giving an elegant, ageless experience to the space. Available in double-hip back this is perfect for properties with a lower roofline or those that want a vaulted ceiling.

P-Shaped

At Coastal we also offer a more bespoke range of conservatories. By using hips and valleys, a larger range of designs can be made such as a P shaped conservatory. A P shaped conservatory gets its name from the shape it creates. It combines elements of a lean-to conservatory (the long part of the p) and a Victorian or Edwardian conservatory (the rounded end).

This style, whilst slightly more expensive than other designs, can provide you with a great deal of room. In fact you could think of a p shaped conservatory as two additional spaces, making it ideal for combining a general seating area with a playroom or dining room.

Gable End

Perfect for a contemporary design, a gable-end conservatory is square or rectangular in style, like a Georgian conservatory. This gives you maximum space to plan the interior of your gable-end conservatory. The gable front of the conservatory adds style and also maximises light coming into the room, while the height of the conservatory gives the room a feeling of space. The gable roof provides a grand and stunning impact both inside and out.

Lantern Orangeries

Lantern orangeries use a lantern roof light to sit on a flat roof or deck. This floods your home with natural light, creating a stunning focal point of your home. Operating as a cutting-edge home improvement solution, these orangeries are a high-performance choice for any home, the  lantern creates a focal point be it over a table or kitchen island. They typically have more brickwork than a traditional conservatory. GLASS

Pilkington Activ blue glass reduces solar heat entering the building by 67% enhancing comfort and reducing the need for cooling the building whilst maintaining light transmission. It also boasts self-cleaning properties, where the coating reacts with natural daylight breaking down organic dirt and the rain washes it away.

    TILED

Our Lightweight tiled roof is the fantastic solution if you are looking to extend your home. With the option to add glazed panels and Velux windows you can be ensured it will meet your every need. Plastered internally with optional spotlights it offers a useable space 365 days a year, 24 hours a day. All roofs require building regulations approval.

    FLAT ROOF

Our Rubber Bond roofing system is the latest in flat roofing technology, perfectly paired with a lantern or dome for orangeries and sun rooms. The flat roofs are typically plastered internally with the option for spotlights. Rubber bond has a 50 year life expectancy, is twice as strong as regular EPDM and we are approved installers. Base Work

At Coastal we offer two options to form the base of your new Conservatory or porch. This is from the traditional brick base to a steel modular system. Some conservatories only require bases, some require dwarf walls and some such as orangeries require more complex works,  this is why all of our bases are completed by our own building teams or installers; this allows us to ensure all works are completed to our vigorous standards.

The Modular steel base system has benefits such as less mess on installation and quicker installation times; it also meets all building regulations if necessary. Please see the video below of a Steel base installation.

We also employ our own plasterer so we can complete your new space start to finish, ensuring a stress free installation. Coastal work closely with a local company of electricians and plumbers, so should they be required, we can deal with that in house.
